The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, the Washington State Commisson on African American Affairs, and the Governor’s Office of Washington want to make parks more relevant to the Black community in Washington state. G3 & Associates is distributing a survey statewide to gather information for that effort.
Here is the link to the survey about how Black people in Washington experience parks and outdoor recreation:
I would appreciate it if you would take the survey yourself – and then send this link out to your friends and network and ask them to please take the survey, too.
We have a very short timeline to collect the information and we want to get survey responses back from as many people in the Black, African, and African American community in Washington state as we can.
Here’s how you can help now:
- Please take the survey yourself.
- Email the survey link to your community network/church and urge them to fill it out – and then ask them to send the link to others in the Black community.
- Include the link in your organization/church newsletter.
Please contact me if you have questions. Attached is a PDF of the survey if you want it as a document to print out.
