Clean Water Ambassadors – High School Intern

The Wastewater Treatment Division education and outreach team is partnering with Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust to provide 12 paid internships to high school students interested in learning how government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and local communities influence the health of waterways in the Puget Sound region.  Applications are due May 15, 2019. Details can be found on King County’s Career Page

Equity and Social Justice Director

The King County Council is seeking an Equity and Social Justice Director.  Competitive candidates will have a passion for community engagement to advance equity and social justice in King County. The Equity and Social Justice Director will work with communities across the County to ensure the Council understands the broad spectrum of issues facing the populations we serve. Equity and Social Justice Program Manager

The Department of Natural Resources and Parks is seeking an Equity and Social Justice Program Manager. This position will lead the department’s efforts in becoming both a more equitable, racially diverse and inclusive work environment, and help the department deliver services in a just way. Executive Analyst

The Office of Performance, Strategy and Budget is seeking an Executive Analyst to provide financial consulting in support of King County services, policy decisions, and initiatives.  In close collaboration with assigned departments and divisions, the successful candidate will manage a range of processes and issues related to budget development, financial monitoring, financial and policy analysis, and business planning, including developing policy options and recommendations.  Applications are due April 21, 2019.  Details can be found on King County’s Career Page.
