Daniel J. Seydel, II has a track record of helping businesses succeed. He has managed projects that led to increased profits and efficiency. As president of The Platinum Group, LLC, Seydel offers consulting services to small, minority, women owned and disadvantaged businesses, as well as government and Fortune 500 corporations.

Seydel earned his degree in business administration in 1995 from Pacific Lutheran University, where he earned All American honors as a decathlete in track and field and was a member of the national championship football team. While still a student, Seydel assisted Seattle developer Len/CM in creating systems that contributed to sales growth from $500,000 to several million dollars within four years. Seydel helped to reduce costs 13% by scheduling and managing projects ranging in size from $25,000 residential renovation projects to million-dollar commercial and governmental projects. Seydel is also an experienced controller of a $5 million corporation, he has managed production and operations systems, purchasing and supply chain management, international trade and manufacturing procedures and designed sales and business promotion campaigns in a corporate environment.

Seydel has actively contributed to the community through volunteer participation in such groups as Tabor 100, an association of business professionals; Rotary International, YMCA, DECA, Boys & Girls Club, NAACP and the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle Contractor Development and Competitiveness Center. A single father to his young son, Tre’, Seydel is committed to improving the community for the next generation.
