Amara Parenting & Adoption Services (formerly Medina Children's Services) believes that every child deserves a loving family and a permanent, nurturing home. We help children of all ages and needs to find permanence within families where they can grow to reach their full potential.

For over 80 years, Amara has helped thousands of children and families throughout the Puget Sound Region. We are committed to providing individualized and compassionate support to families through education, skill building, financial and legal information, and counseling. Adoptive families receive full range services from information gathering to post placement support. Amara works with birth parents helping them to make informed decisions and choices about their pregnancy and child. Amara assist teen parents who are struggling to get their lives on track and raise their children in safe, loving environments.
