Tabor 100 / Space Needle Scholarship 2012 Culinary Arts Scholarships
Call for Applications
This Culinary Arts and Hospitality Scholarship Program is one of several scholarship programs hosted and operated by the Tabor 100 organization. Our supporting partner in this program is the Space Needle LLC.Space Needle Culinary Arts Scholarship -- $2,500 Chihuly - Garden & Glass Culinary Arts Scholarship -- $2,500 Please distribute: 2012 Tabor 100 Culinary Arts Scholarships Call for Applications There will be two $2,500 Culinary Arts Scholarships awarded, each potentially renewable for a total of two years. [Maximum full amount: $5,000 per scholar] We are actively encouraging African-American high school students interested in the Culinary Arts to apply for these scholarships. In selecting the Tabor 100 Culinary Arts Scholarship recipients, the selection committee will follow the guidelines outlined below. These guidelines are deemed to be critical elements in assessing the achievements, character, and future potential of the candidates under review. Taken as a whole, they afford an excellent evaluation metric, and the selection committee should take care not to put any one element above all others. The specific application guidelines are presented below:
The Culinary Arts Scholarships are offered to undergraduate and graduate students in colleges within the Puget Sound area, or residents from this same area attending college programs in Culinary Arts within the United States.
